ZNA Recruitment 2023 Regular Officer Cadets:
Are you between 18 to 22 years of age and possess a high school advanced level certificate? If so, you’re eligible to join as a Regular Officer Cadet. For diploma and degree holders, the age limit is extended to 24 years. The educational qualifications include a minimum of three Advanced Level passes with a total of 6 points. If you hold a degree or higher diploma, that’s even better!
Candidates must also prove their physical fitness and pass an officer selection process before commencing training. The journey culminates with a presidential commission upon successful completion of the cadet course.
ZNA Vacancies Medical Cadets:
Aspiring doctors, this one’s for you! The ZNA is seeking candidates aged 18 to 25 years who are accepted for undergraduate degree training by recognized universities. If you’re pursuing a medical degree, this is your chance to serve your nation and fulfill your passion. Upon finishing your medical training, you’ll be commissioned by the President, ready to make a difference in the healthcare field.
ZNA Recruitment General Duty (GD) Soldier:
For those aged 18 to 22 years with a determination to serve, becoming a General Duty Soldier is a great option. All you need are five Ordinary Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics at Grade ‘C’ or better. Recruits undergo a rigorous 6-month Basic Military Training to shape them into skilled soldiers. After this training, you’ll pass out as a Private soldier, ready to play your role in the defense of Zimbabwe.
ZNA Recruitment Technical/Specialist Personnel:
Do you have specialized skills and expertise? The ZNA is looking for individuals aged 18 to 30 years with unique talents. Potential officers undergo a 6-month Basic Officers Course (BOC) to enhance their capabilities. Successfully completing the BOC leads to a commission, enabling you to contribute to the army’s technical and specialized needs.
ZNA Recruitment 2023/2024 General Requirements:
- Medical: A thorough medical examination administered by an Army Medical Officer is required to ensure your fitness for service.
- Height and Weight: The average height is 1.7m, with a minimum weight of 57kgs.
- Vetting: To ensure suitability, candidates undergo a rigorous security screening process.
